Deaf Antlers Collective – Paint Nite – January 15th
The Deaf Antlers Collective is hosting a paint night in Calgary, Alberta to fundraise for our local Deaf artists on Jan 15th. The instructions will be provided by Torrie Ironstar at the Inside Out Theatre studio. Your $80 ticket includes dinner by Mykonos Street Grill and all painting supplies. Kick things off with dinner at 6pm followed by painting at 7pm. Click here for more information.
Indigenous Haute Couture Fashion Residency
This three-week in-person residency will offer Indigenous textile-based artists with traditional and contemporary practices the opportunity to develop their design and pattern development skills, traditional, and digital embellishments all at haute couture level. Indigenous fashion makers and designers will explore experimental elements or accomplish finished productions of their work with an haute couture aesthetic to the best of their capacity in a fully supported environment by faculty D’Arcy Moses and Christine Gerke, along with other guest faculty members.
*Financial Aid of 100% is available to cover all program costs.
